Shame their takeaway service isn’t at the same level as the restaurant. Have ordered delivery several times, food is always delivered warm. Taste is hit and miss, tonight we were not impressed, samosas were bland mash potato with a couple of peas added in. Salmon had no flavour and mushroom rice was mediocre despite 8 cardamom pods in the rice (yep, in just one portion). Curry was not up to par to what we had in the restaurant, despite being a chef special. Poppadoms were clearly precooked a while ago they had already started going stale. We come regularly. Staff are always very kind, friendly, welcoming and polite. It is by far the best egg fried rice we've had in the UK. We recommend chicken makhni, an absolute delicacy. Service is quick and the place is always spotless clean. Portions are very generous so you can eat fairly well for 10-20£ per person and still bring some food home. We recommend it 100%, an underrated gem in Epsom!! I used to love this place, but it's gone downhill. I received a delivery with curdled, off, mint sauce. They apologised, and, as I have been ordering from them for years, I ordered again......and guess what happened?! To have not done the necessary clean up after the first mistake indicates a very concerning deeper issue. I won't be ordering from them again. Very tasty. Highly recommended the Pahadi lamb which was very tasty and delicious lamb which fell apart, clearly nicely slow cooked. Bhajis were flat but big enough to stay moist in the middle.
