My husband and I have a tiny obsession with Jamaican beef patties. They are phenomenal! We picked up 2 spicy beef patties, a plate of jerk chicken, and a plate of curry goat. The chicken was nice, although I'm more used to the dry rub. The curried goat was really good and I loved my rice and peas (kidney beans. The plantains were also really good. BUT we devoured our beef patties.... and then drove back to the shop and picked up 6 more. The outside was perfectly flakey, the inside creamy and spicy! Oh perfection! Thankful my work is only 5 minutes away. We will be regulars for our lunch dates!

came here from a reddit recommendation on best jamaican food in the bay and this was really disappointing. this might be bc they had to cater to the audience but the food was lackluster. it seemed really authentic tho and i always want to support small businesses but expected more. jerk chicken: the dish was good but not spicy at all and didn?t really have a jerky flavor. it was more tangy/sweet. rice and peas and the plantain was good though mild beef patty: kinda reminded me of frozen patties, nothing special about this

The owners of this establishment really know what they’re doing, and we all stand behind them. They offer everything you could want, from freshly prepared Jamaican dishes and fresh vegetables to Caribbean products, raw meat, and fish, as well as Yaad-style items. I highly recommend trying ackee and saltfish on a Sunday, which is Jamaica's national dish.

My husband and I always order our Friday dinners from here. The goat is $17 and the chicken is $14, served with red beans and rice, cornbread, and carrots and cabbage. Oh my goodness! The jerk chicken dinner is incredibly flavorful, and the red beans and rice, cabbage, and plantains all had a wonderfully authentic taste! I'm so glad my cousin recommended it to me!
