Extremely cool space, good beer, slow service. I loved the space and the retro feel. They have their menu on VHS tapes. There were lots of games at the bar to play. We went on a Friday night. They had a few vendors selling handmade items and a musician performing. While I normally am not the biggest fan of IPAs (and a majority, like 75% of their beers on tap are IPAs), I really enjoyed most of theirs. They weren’t super hoppy and had some great flavoring. I've always liked Evil Genius, and I was really excited to come to this location in Philly. Initially felt kind of sketchy because it was under the L, but the vibe inside was great! The inside was surprisingly very spacious. Everyone looks like s/he's having a great time. Tables and benches were filled with people, and there are games laid out for people to play! This was awesome. I got in line for the beer, and the selection was great (hopefully, since it's a brewery). Went here for a drag brunch which was absolutely amazing!!! However the place itself is absolute GARBAGE. They over served a member of my group and then decided to KICK THEM TO THE CURB IN 90 DEGREE WEATHER. I work in the service industry and NEVER do we kick somebody out in that weather to sit on the curb in this type of heat when he can barely walk because he is so drunk. You tell them “sit here we can’t serve you anymore but you need to sober up” in THE NICE COLD AIR CONDITIONED VENUE. Everything leading up to this was great but I will never go back after this. ABSOLUTE TRASH AND DISREGARD FOR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN SERVING SIZES. (Served him at least 8 ounces of tequila STRAIGHT)

Quick, friendly service. Made it to trivia night and also got to try out the dream house! Just a Barbie girl in a Barbie world these days (look at those sparkles)

Fun atmosphere, lots of space both inside and outside. Avoid if you are a nondrinker or pregnant, as they have zero non-alcoholic options or NA beers.
