on a Sunday afternoon, after a day walk, for the first time fantastic! met the new owners who were so friendly, ate great food and the beer was perfect! dogs also more than welcome (the trees on the bar and a...water dish brought to the table a beautiful note) which is an additional bonus. will certainly stop from more often!

We went here for lunch today and met the new owners. Wow! The best pub lunch I have ever had (chilli beef salad). The new hosts are welcoming, warm and attentive. What an addition to the Devon Hospitality sector. I am sure that they will...do very well in this beautiful pub! Thank you x

beautiful filling Sunday roast, would definitely recommend, and will definitely return. my man had beef with yorkshire pudding, I had lammage that fell from the bone. a good selection of sweet, red cabbage, carrots, brokkoli, papasnip, we paid extra for cauliflower cheese.

we thought in the exeter inn for a fast drink after going to exmoor. really nice pub, simple parking and friendly staff. we had no time to eat, but her menu looked great. next time!

the restaurant is under new management. the new owners could not have been more helpful, courteous and friendly. eating is really delicious and cheap.
