EXP Restaurant & Bar

My colleague and I probably would've walked right by this place if he hadn't already found out about it online. Don't let the nondescript exterior fool you. The food, drinks, service, and overall ambience have made EXP one of my favorite spots in Vancouver. The service was great, and honestly, nothing beat playing some Mario Kart and reminiscing of the good 'ole days while waiting to be seated. As for the food, I ordered some variation of the loaded nachos that even the small plate was hearty enough to share. This restaurant is the ultimate hang out for fans of video games, anime, and pop culture. With a few arcade machines and consoles by the bar, you can tell this is no ordinary restaurant. Pixel art line the walls and there's different pop culture events that happen each week. Trivia is always fun. You'll always find gamers here and make friends easily if you're one as well.When I ate, I had a crab meat sandwich. It was cooked perfectly and did not disappoint.During conventions, this is the place for meals. Expect this place to be crowded when Anime Revolution takes place at the convention center.

If you like video games and good food, this is the place to be. The ambient is cozy and filled with arcade machines, video game posters and video game streams are on the TV's all the time. The menu is completely stylized with video game references, I got a TriForce Burger! It's such a cool place! They offer a variety of board games for customers, as well as consoles. I played Super Smash Bros with my friends, and gave a shot at Overwatch for the first time. I highly recommend this place!

I loved that we could play connect four while waiting for our food. The food was nothing too over the top but it wasn't bad. The fries were pretty great. I recommend going there with friends and play games!!

A little dark and grungy and perhaps not as cleverly gaming themed as I might have expected, but a good choice of game themed cocktails on offer! Service was friendly.
