Express Jamaica Restaurant is the largest Jamaican restaurant in Broward County. The food is wonderful and they will serve you quickly. There's never a long waiting time. The food is on the display and is always hot. I'm a regular customer there. I can't stay away from this restaurant. It belongs to the Robertson family. Mother and two daughters and restaurant staff. They are all so wonderful and very friendly for those who come to get this great taste. The restaurant is just west of 441/SR 7 on Miramar Parkway. In the Plaza next to the Seven Night Club. People come from far and wide to get there, the parking can sometimes be packed. Once you try out the food, you will come back for more. I should know I'm an American veteran and I've eaten food from almost every country around the world.
The spot is my go to for Jamaican food. I drive all the way from Miami or from work I get meals for my family to take home. Brown stew fish on Saturdays is a must!!! Brown stew chicken with oxtail gravy is banging! Also they have the best curry dishes in Miami. The oxtail is the best in Miami as well! I just wish they would make it spicy. But other than that I will forever support this family owned restaurant that always treat me like family. Nadine the server is a sweetheart always and will do her best to accommodate any request that you may have. I please open several locations.
I have been eating at Expreas Jamaican Restaurant for 15 years and it is easily the best!! You must go! The food is amazing and you will definitely be made to feel welcomed!! The owner is always kind and makes you feel at home! The whole family loves it (my mom HAS to go anytime she's in town! If you are looking for catering, they do that too!! We've had our Company Christmas party catered for the last 2 years and not a bit of it was left!!! If you havent been you have to go try for yourself!
I have a big curry chicken with rice peas and the food was so good. I ordered by DoorDash, who didn't have a complete menu, so I called to see if I could pay another way to get some fried dumplings as it wasn't on the menu and they compiled us 2 because they didn't have it on DoorDash.
