My kids and I took a break from the bike trail on a hot day to grab some lunch. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Since I’m very pregnant, they kindly filled our water bottles for the ride back. The umbrellas were open, providing us with some much-needed shade from the sun. The food was delicious; my daughter especially loved the wings. We each indulged in a treat, and I was pleased to find that they were generous portions at a fantastic price. I've been craving a snowball ever since our visit—it was that good!
I love eating here, but in the last 3-4 months my orders are getting messed up about 50% of the time! Ordered 3 sandwiches w/ fries and they forgot to give us the fries! Another time I ordered a turkey sandwich with onion. They seem to forget the onions a lot of the time. I guess now I'll need to open my food up before leaving. :
This is a great place for pit beef if you're in the area. They have a wide variety of options on the menu, but I usually go for the pit beef platter. I always request it medium-rare, but it tends to come out medium-well instead. Fortunately, the gravy that comes with the platter makes up for the mistake.
This is a walk up and order kind of place. Standing covered tables are available if you would like to eat there. The food has always been good and the wings are delicious and perfect for parties.
