I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and is now my favourite. This is my benchmark for a good steak and rosti and hasn't been beaten yet. The service is good and friendly. They serve seasonal food from local ingredients. It is very reasonably priced and a nice atmosphere.

Really good steak here, the menu is nice and simple and I always eat the same thing: Rinderhufte with krauterbutter and pommes, can´t beat it! The owner is also lovely and her English is perfect which is good for us :)The streudel is lovely for desert too.Highly recommend.

nice friendly reception by all staff. drink something about the bar before they decide to eat. the steaks were of good quality along with a beautiful rösti and late zle. also the pfefferkornsauce was beautifully made and not sticky as on many places.

we visit basel almost every year and if possible we cross the border to Germany to eat at extra leaf. it is a family-run restaurant and we are welcomed as old friends, although a visit in the year does not make us masters. with this opportunity all.

Nicely done and cheap daily meals, with soup or salad, large menu with both fish and meat, fine wines, why bother :) Nice place and good service. My favorite in Weil am Rhein.
