This was our second visit to Fabio on fire. We ordered the calamari appetizer, followed by the braised short rib ravioli and lasagna. Unfortunately, the first order of calamari arrived undercooked and very greasy. It's possible that the oil had not been brought up to temperature, as we arrived shortly after the restaurant opened for dinner service. My husband pointed it out to our waiter, and he immediately removed it and brought a new, perfectly fried order. My short rib ravioli was spectacular, with a light sage cream sauce. I could have used one more ravioli on my plate, but the smaller amount allowed me to have a nice dessert. My husband's lasagna was very good, with a delicious bolognes...
I was told this place was awesome and authentic Italian food so I had to give it a try and OH MY GOD? can I give this place 6 starts please??? Pizza was amazing ?????? unfortunately I made the stupid decision of eating pizza earlier so I wasn?t in the mood for pizza but I tried it and oh God, ?? it?s perfect, amazing, awesome, if you?re looking for the best pizza (not only in the west valley) in the whole Maricopa county THIS IS IT, I repeat THIS IS IT!!! My gnocchis where also delicious, the bread they give you 1st was also delicious, please do yourself a favor and come and eat here (even if you?re far, it?s worth the drive I promise)
Fabio on Fire Italian Restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. The appetizers are delectable, with the calamari and bruschetta being particular highlights. The pizza is also worth trying, but the real star of the show is the dessert. The cannolis, gelato, and tiramisu are all heavenly, and the free after-dinner lozenges are a lovely touch. The lemon lozenges, in particular, are a must-try. I've been back multiple times just for dessert! Overall, Fabio on Fire offers a truly memorable dining experience that will leave you craving more. Highly recommended!
We absolutely love this place, the bread to start out with is amazing!!! We are Romanians so we looooove bread and this one is fantastic! I personally loved the butters quash ravioli a bit too sweet but delicious). The breaded shrimp appetizer was really good but one or two pieces is enough so split it order is 6 pieces).The pizza is well known to be really good so can't go wrong there.And my absolute favorite is the strawberry gelato which for those of us who grew up with this it is not gelato.... Spumă de căpșuni ca la mama acasa !!!
This our second time dining here. We ordered the seafood pasta special and the Margarita pizza. The pizza was consistent since our last visit. The pasta dish did not impress. The mussels were perfect in this dish. The shrimp and calamari were over cooked. We did express this to our server. We shall dine again in the future at Fabio on Fire. I would like to try a red sauce pasta next time. I do recommend to make a reservation.
Our server, Courtney, gave us great suggestions and we followed through on every one of them. The meatball appetizer and cheese trays were excellent. The bread they bring to the table was light and delicious. The entrees of the stuffes pasta with acorn squash and the pizza were excellent. Don't forget the tiramasu!
