URGENT, READ BEFORE YOU GO: The comments about the rude staff members are completely true. Had travelled quite far to go here on a Friday night with friends having heard good things about the club. Following entry was initially quite impressed music and atmosphere was good. Decided to order at the bar on the left hand side on the bottom floor after entry. Bar staff member with glasses resembling Dwight Schrute from The Office was sat on a bar stool on his phone and wouldn’t pay attention to what I was saying. Asked at least 5 times whether he could serve me 1 drink and ignored me each time. He repeatedly diverted his eyes away from me and responded quietly so I couldn’t make out his response...
Paid £8 each to get in only to be served drinks that tasted like chlorine.. we decided to leave almost instantly. My friend went out of the wrong door when he was trying to leave and got thrown around and dragged out backwards by multiple bouncers who hadn’t even attempted to ask him to go out of a different door. I was then shoved by the bouncer and punched in the stomach by him as I was trying to leave the building. I’m a 5ft woman, we were just trying to leave. Bouncers were making threats to “Take our jaws off” as well as calling us “stupid pricks” Truly awful place to go. First and last time in Factory! I think we just went on an off day. It was kinda expensive, we got there late so it was £10 entry fee (which was our fault tbf) but I don’t get the only over £5 on card thing. The main issue I had was that it was packed and there was only three working ladies toilet cubicles. The queue for them was massive. It was also an open toilet so there was people walking down the stairs which could see the cubicles. Security was there managing the queue though. The toilet I went in also had a broken lock, so the door was closed but not locked… overall not the best experience, there also wasn’t much variety of music imo.
Factory is hands down best club in manchester, security are always there asap if anything needs sorting making us feel really safe, bar staff, ticket and staff workers are always really welcoming adding to the experience. Always have the best DJs on providing amazing music everynight, the three floors mean that there’s something for everyone every night. As a young student, I always feel very safe here in comparison to other clubs which is always a massive bonus when going out clubbing.

The bouncers are vile, I work in the security industry myself. Ive witnessed these bouncers assault people for literally no reason and they cover it up with lies. I’ve heard lots of stories and you can literally see it below in all the negative reviews. The security company compact security need to get their contract revoked ASAP, they are absolutely disgusting people who need to be investigated
DO NOT GO. You have to pay £2 to go into the smoking area! We were told on entry that we would get a free drink, however they only offered this to girls (which they didn’t tell us), and since we were in a group with boys they refused us all drinks. Staff laughed in our faces and were so rude. Worst club I’ve ever been to. I would not recommend this and am never coming back.
The bouncers at this restaurant were rude, kicking out innocent boys who were defending us instead of those who were behaving inappropriately. The bar staff also refused to serve me and my friend based on false information from another girl in the queue. The staff should not act so entitled as it only hurts their business in the end.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. The bouncers mistreated my friend, pinning her to the ground, choking her, and shoving me. There are much better ways to handle a situation than abusing young girls and preventing them from breathing.

My friends and I always have a great time at this restaurant. The staff, especially our favorite bartender Kirsti, are friendly and welcoming. Kirsti always remembers our drink orders and is always happy to see us.
