My wife and I always drive past this place when ever we head towards Burr Ridge. We decided to give this place a go. We arrived around 4:30PM, no one greeted us for a seat, so we decided to just sit at the bar. We were literally 10 feet away from where the staff congregated/checked in for their shift. After sitting at the bar for 5 mins, and being 10 feet away from 5 Fair Play workers that were just standing around talking amongst themselves, someone finally took our drink order and gave us menus. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately struck by the overwhelming volume of the music; it was not a promising start. We faced long wait times, sitting for 20 minutes before being seated and an additional 20 minutes just to get drinks. Although there were numerous servers present, it was clear that the bar was under-staffed. When we finally placed our dinner order, we hoped for an improvement, but sadly, that was not the case. After waiting 45 minutes, our server informed us that there was a wedding happening upstairs, which felt like a poor excuse for the delay and should not have affected the restaurant's service. Had a delicious meal for two with things that we've never had before it's $40 and is quite enough for two people. Excellent in gimlet. They serve delicious bread but they serve it plain so we had to ask for olive oil and parmesan cheese. The wait staff really doesn't speak english. It is like Serbian. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather but we're kind of turned off when we saw an ashtray on every table so we had to deal with smokers. Grrrrrr
The place had a strong smell of sewage when I arrived. I had planned to invite some friends, but after getting a glass of water and leaving a tip, I decided to leave instead. I was the only patron there apart from the staff, and the only thing playing on the screen was soccer. I recently had my first experience at this restaurant and sporting event, which I didn't even know existed until Open Table suggested it. We had a great time, and both the food and service were excellent. I noticed that many of the patrons appeared to be of Eastern European descent. Overall, we will definitely be returning to dine here again soon.
It 's not coming soon . It 's here. I drive past this place all the time and have been curious ever since it opened and finally decided to pop in. Great venue. Lively and fun and something for everything. Food, drinks, coffee shop, whiskey bar, soccer fields. I 'll be coming more often.
came here via a local flavor coupon no reason to come here otherwise. unless you are Serbian and:or a soccer fiend. I think it becomes a nightclub on the weekends? tuna tartare was pretty bad. menu pretty expensive the best thing we ate was the tomato and cucumber and feta salad
