Falken - Reservar una mesa

Whilst spending the day in Bern, three of us decided to have a break from walking around the city and have lunch. Luckily we decide to eat at Restaurant Falken. This is a great restaurant, Not overly expensive, nor is it too grand or upmarket, its pitched just right. The service was excellent, in fact the day we went was to be the last service before it was to be closed for holidays so some of the dishes were unavailable and the waiter took his time to explain the situation and to talk us through what was on offer. This was fine with us, there was still plenty to chose from though the menu is not massive which I prefer anyway. I have the spaghetti with a slightly spicy tomato based cream sauce. its not what I would normally chose but it was delicious. We also had a green salad this too was perfect.We didn't have desert what we ate was wonderful and I would definitely come back to Restaurant Falken if I get the chance to visit Bern again soon. This is a little gem of a place.

Beautiful place that also has vegetarian options! We had: mixed salad with fruit and vegetables (11 CHF), spaghetti all cinque P (23 CHF), penne all pesto with lemon (23 CHF). The spaghetti all cinque P was the best what the other dishes were also great. We split among the 3 of us and still had remnants, the parts of pasta are quite generous. Interior and exterior seats, completely casual, child-friendly.
