Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria

Two of us went for lunch at Famoso Pizzeria and found that it wasn't busy at all. The server was a very pleasant young lady who gave us some recommendations with regards to the luncheon menu. We ordered a Caesar salad, tomato bisque and 2 individual pizzas. The food arrived very quickly. The Caesar salad was average and the tomato bisque was very flavourful with a fresh tomato taste. The pizza crusts were very thin, but appeared to be a bit raw in the middle of the crust. I have eaten here previously and found the same thing, so thought that I would give it a try one more time. Authentic Neapolitan pizza. The staff were very friendly to our children and made it a great visit. The kids got some dough to play with, got to sit at the counter an watch the chefs in action, and then we played some indoor bocce ball. The food was excellent and the drinks menu is diverse and exciting. A relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a family supper or a late night outing with friends.

I have to say this might be some of my favourite pizza here in Saskatoon. They have a wonderful ambiance when it comes to an authentic feel and vibe. The one thing I can say, is that their service, from placing order to food arriving is FAST. It is delicious pizza and I have ever left feeling less than satisfied... especially after sampling their tasty gelatto selection.

Our grandson invited us to meet him at Famoso. We had never been before. Six of us all had various styles of Pizzas and they were excellent. We were seated immediately upon entering. Service was fast and efficient. The caesar cocktails were awesome. Be sure to stop to view the Italian made oven in operation. Reserva una mesa ahora

Wanted a quick and inexpensive lunch. Had the tomato bisque with Caesar salad. Friend had the soup and a pizza. Order arrived in less than 10 minutes. Best tomato bisque that has ever graced my lips!! With a beer, pop and gelato dessert, bill was only $41. Will definitely be returning.

Eat there often and have always had a good meal until this last weekend. The Gorgonzola Walnut salad dressing was very bland and the pizzas were both a bit soggy in the centre. We will certainly go back, hoping that this was just an unusual "bad day"

I did go into this restaurant with an open mind but left disappointed. The pizza's all seem undercooked (4 different pizza's at our table) and weren't great! Service was good and dessert was amazing though!

Great quick and friendly service! We told them we were travelling and we had our food in less than 10 min!! Piping hot and fresh food. I like that they have Rebellion local beer. Would highly recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora

Had a gift card to this restaurant. Pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a quite atmosphere. Food came extremely fast and very tasty. Only downside, cost more than I expected especially for dessert.

We had the most amazing pizza there and it was a fairly fun atmosphere. The food comes very quickly so you aren't tortured by the smell of pizza for too long.
