Our waiter took over minutes to come and take our order. When we arrived they put us at a booth quickly, but my husband was not comfortable in this booth. After waiting about minutes in this first booth our waiter came and we asked if we can be seated at another table. They were not able to view Open Table reservation, but did honor it and seated us after only a short wait. However, taking our order, waiting for food, waiting for a tray for leftovers, waiting for bill all took minutes and multiple requests. Finally left cash and left as no one came back to table. Dropped bill and left so fast I was unable to pay with card. Tried to pay at register, but was refused and told to wait at table for waitress who never came back. Different servers would check but not come back. Food was barely warm. This was supposed to be a special annual meal with my daughter. It was stressful and disappointing. Service and food last year were better and it was busier last year...
It started kind of bad. We were sat down and forgotten for about minutes other guests that had arrived after us had gotten drinks and appetizers we had to get one of the employees attention to actually get noticed. Well we happen to let employee Martin know what’s going on and he changes our whole experience completely around he takes our drink order immediately and promises to make our experience better. We sat down at our table on New Year's Eve and the server came to take our drink orders. She immediately announced that there was no soda available so several of us ordered lemonade. She then came back and told us that there was no lemonade really??? So we drank water and a couple of our guests ordered a bottle of beer because there was also no beer on tap. We had to keep grabbing our waitress for things that we needed and the restaurant was not even busy but it seemed that there were only servers, that we could see working. When we arrived for our reserved time, the hostess explained that they don't honor reservations made on open table during the weekend and that if we wanted to wait it would be hours. It's unacceptable that a restaurant chooses to partner with a serviced like open table and then refuses to honor the reservation made. I will never return to this Famous Dave's, and quite frankly given that it's a chain establishment this experience is enough incentive to avoid all of their locations.
Food was great. The only problems we had is they did not have a few things we asked for. They did not have lemonade. They did not have any drink menus available. My friend ordered a beer and he had to wait about minutes for them to change the keg. We didn't stay long after eating because there was a toddler sitting behind us crying loudly because he wanted his parents cell phone.
The customer service from the greeter to the waitress was poor. We waited over an hour to get our food and it was luke warm buns were soggy. The kids chicken nuggets were too spicy from the pepper for them to enjoy. And the manager only compensated us with a coupon for a free appetizer. I would definitely not recommend this location. I was very disappointed.
Was disappointed. We love FD on the east coast but this experience was not the best. We had a reservation yet had to wait minutes to be seated and the food was over cooked. The restaurant appeared to be overwhelmed on a Saturday night. It might be just a bad night but if you go, prepare for a long wait at all parts of your visit.

Famous Dave's is one of my favorite BBQ place. Food is always good good customer service.
