Famous Kabab Cuisine

I just found this charming Afghan restaurant that has a cozy, narrow setup with plenty of tables. They offer an impressive variety of delicious vegetarian options. We started with their hearty lentil and pea soup, and then shared the boldini flatbreads—one filled with potatoes and the other with butternut squash. Although they are listed as appetizers, these flatbreads are 14 inches long, thick, fried, chewy, and served hot; we couldn't finish them! The host was very friendly, and the chef personally brought our food to the table. I also enjoyed a thick, freshly made mango shake. Afghan cuisine is quite unique, and I can't wait to explore more items on the menu!

I can confidently say that this was the best chicken tikka kebab I've ever had, paired with pilaf. The kebabs were soft, juicy, and had a delightful texture—clearly fresh and made with care. The presentation was impressive, even for takeout (unlike other places that just throw the chicken over rice, which isn’t very appetizing). I wish I could give a five-star rating, but it seems they forgot to add raisins and carrots to my plate, as I've seen in other photos of their chicken tikka kebabs.

The food is good and the service is honest and pleasant. Do not go there when you are in a hurry and expect professional waiting staff. Go when you are in the mood for some good quality kebabs, boiled fresh. We had the chicken chawarma that was nice and the chicken chaplin kebabs that was good for two. They also give sauces on the side, so you can them as spicy as you want. This area needed a kebab place, hope to stay!

What a hidden gem! This was my first experience with Afghan cuisine, and this small business truly exceeded my expectations. The flavors were vibrant, and you could really tell that everything was freshly made. The chicken served over white rice and the chicken tikka kebab were absolutely amazing. Ordered takeout. Prices much higher than advertised online. Food was good, but $19 for some grilled chicken and rice with a side of lettuce? Absolutely not worth it. The food is great! Especially they’re eggplant dish!! I’ve eaten at multiple Afghan restaurants, and this place has the best eggplant. The service was quick and the staff was super friendly!
