My wife ordered penne with broccoli and Alfredo sauce. Her meal was also bland, with overcooked pasta that fell apart, and the broccoli was, again, overcooked and just tossed on top. She couldn’t finish even half of it, either. In the end, the only thing we could bear to eat was the terrible bread that came with the order, just to get the taste of those disappointing pasta dishes out of our mouths.
These are the original owners of the Peppino's on 241st Street in the Bronx! While the pizza doesn't taste quite the same as it did back then, it's definitely much better than the current Peppino's on 241st. The pizza still has that perfect crispy crust and the ooey-gooey cheesy goodness we remember from the old days.
We were in the area and happened to stop in for a couple of slices and a salad. What a pleasure to see a familiar face from the old neighborhood of 241st and White Plains Rd! The food, service, and atmosphere were as good, if not better, than I remembered. You have to try Grandma slice! Definitely will be back.
We've ordered before and we pick-up! The Sicilian pizza is amazing. It's the best we've had in this area. Next time we'll try their other items on the menu. I would recommend for sure. I just wish it was a bigger spot!!! Vegetarian options: You can order items w/o meat or cheese that have great salad selections. Parking: The pizza shop is located next to several stores. You'll get parking but it might not be right in front of the place.
Ordered a Sicilian pie and mozzarella sticks for pickup. The guy told me ten minutes! It was fast. I have to say the Sicilian did not disappoint! My mom even enjoyed it and she 's a tough critic. Definitely going to order from there again.
I had penne and broccoli with Alfredo sauce and everything was completely over cooked and tasted so bland. The amount of Parmesan and black pepper I put on didn't even make the food taste good. Not worth almost $50 for two
I ordered a margherita pizza, this is what they gave me. They need to go back to italy to learn how to make it. They threw tomatoes on top and called it margherita. Disappointed. Reserva una mesa ahora
