It seems you have to book a few days in advance to be able to eat here, after failing multiple times because they are unable to accommodate walk-ins even though half the tables are empty. When I did eventually eat here, the food itself is pretty good and more interesting than your usual cafe fare, albeit a bit pricey. Service has been a mixed bag, sometimes efficient and friendly, sometimes slow and aloof. Service: Dine in

You know you’ve had something special when you’re still thinking about it a week later! We popped in for some coffee and cake last Friday. We both had the carrot cake. Initially I thought the frosting to cake ratio was a bit stingy, but it was perfect. The cake was moist and well spiced with just the right amount of cream cheese frosting. The food was... Ok. Not great, but not terrible either. Quite expensive for a southern fried chicken bap and so we're the fries.
