Very Disappointing. We brought friends to dine with us because our first visit was quite good. This time the meal I had called a paella was close to inedible. The only recognizable taste was chickpeas, as well as the only thing that stood out on the plate. There was nothing about it that resembled paella. If I had not ordered the steak to accompany I would have eaten nothing. My steak was cooked just right but another in our party ordered the stand alone steak dish and it came drowned in beet juice. Farmer Girl has some fresh and creative dishes. We enjoyed appetizers of stuffed squash blossoms and bruschetta with peaches that were delicious but smaller than assumed. While food was good it was a bit on the pricey side for what you get, I felt. I would have enjoyed more seasoning on the dinner I got too as it didn't have the full flavors I expected from A paella. Our server was attentive and patient. I loved the ambience and opened up feel.

farm girl is a local farm to choose restaurant with a good selection of meals. we have enjoyed both meal times very, and it is good to see that this business supports the local farmers. If we're back in lyon, we'd be back.

Farmer Girl provides high quality farm-to-table fare at reasonable prices. The wait staff was very good. I will definitely make the trek from Boulder to Lyons to enjoy more meals at Farmer Girl.
