What a beautiful little local, called in for drinks as was staying up the road. Saturday night was quite busy but we managed to find a table and soaked up the village atmosphere. The prices of the drinks were great value, and we got invited to join the pub quiz which was really good fun, did we win, no, but got a prize for the lowest score which one of the locals told us we had won. The landlord was very friendly and didn’t make us feel unwelcome which from experience of visiting other pubs that are not local to us we left after one drink . We could of stayed longer but we were all tired but next time I definitely will be staying longer.
My friend and I decided to go for a Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed! The food was so delicious crispy potatoes and fluffy inside and the beef was melting in our mouths! You get a great selection of vegetables and cauliflower cheese as you can see from the photos. I would highly recommend this pub for food or even just a few drinks. They have a great selection of beers, ciders, wine etc and the garden is lovely. Thank you to all the staff and fantastic owners for a great Sunday afternoon
Really friendly local pub. We are staying at the holiday park and thought we would come for dinner. Had a lovely meal with starter and dessert! Bar staff and the young waitress very chatty and welcoming. Food was lovely!. Steak was cooked to perfection! Very reasonable prices . All the locals were very friendly. Best of all this pub is very dog friendly. We took our little patterdale terrier. .we loved it so much we are returning Saturday we booked a table to watch footie and have dinner !
Omg what an absolute hidden gem, came upon it by chance and so glad we did. Very friendly atmosphere lovely menu. The food portions are huge and the quality is outstanding I think it is the first time been out for a meal and felt too stuffed to have a dessert will definitely be returning

I left a message and didn't get back to me so my husband took us there to book while standing waiting the barmaid didn't acknowledge me and served people after me felt so ignored and disrespected so walked out they have missed out on £80 food and meal bill wouldn't go back very ignorant
We stopped in here from something light to eat and a drink. We had a couple a side plates which were all very tasty and decent prices. Along with a wine and a shandy it all went down very nicely. friendly staff too, bonus.
Want proper pub food and atmosphere this the pub for you. Doing classic like fish and chips to halloumi burgers with mushrooms. Food good by pub standards services is great and food arrived after about ten minutes wait.
Excellent food service. We arrived late but were made to feel very welcome. Super dog friendly. We all had different mains which were lovely, the chips are to die for. Will definitely call in again.

We came here while on our holiday in watergate bay. We booked a table on a Monday evening with our little dog. Service was great and food was excellent, would definitely recommend.
Very nice pub, brilliant service and food. All the staff were nice and helpful. A hidden gem and a nice quiet spot for lunch.
