Farneralp - Reservar una mesa

This is a typical hiker's restaurant of a more or less rustic style. The food is down-to-earth Swiss style but rather hearty and tasty. The price is reasonable. They are opened 365 days in a year, run by a friendly Swiss couple who do everything themselves, so there is family touch to the service. They have also home-made desserts. Kids might enjoy this place since they have some sheep and cattles around the restaurant. We did enjoy our meals.

My cheese salad with various fine salads was great. My hiking colleague's hamburger was very fibrous and not worth at least the price of 26.80.

I enjoyed a great evening and was treated to perfect food and exceptional service. I'll be back and I'm already looking forward to it today.

Good and friendly as always. Unfortunately not for long, so it's still useful while it's open.
