We only planned to visit this place for beer, and the beer choice was very good with a good choice of draught and bottled craft beers. As we had settled in for a little were we decided to stop for a sausage snack and bread. Critically we ordered 'bread' when it arrived the bread basket contained 3 pieces were were quite nice. However when we got the bill we got charged for 3 x bread, so it appeared that each piece of bread was chargeable. We protested we were told we ate what we ordered, then after further complaints we were refunded the full cost of the bread, beware!
The restaurant is not located in any market street or shopping area. Its in a quiet residential street. Easier to find with google map. The restaurant gave an old look which i liked. It had variety of options of beers having range of alcohol content from 4%-13%. It had number of beers with fruit flavors also. Overall a must try for beer lovers. Also the food was good. I being a vegetarian had limited options but i ordered a dish with boiled potatoes and honey and it was overall decent. I liked the potato salad a lot. I can come here for a beer again.
Not the easiest place to find, but this is a quiet, quite friendly, pub with some excellent craft beer which the staff are happy to advise on (in English). The food range is restricted but the schnitzel is superb ; my wife rated the vegan burger too. Food is good value- two main courses and 3 beers cam out at 34 euros- but watch for the charged bread trick other reviewers have commented on.
Loved the location, loved the atmosphere. We found this place recommended for craft beer and it did not disappoint. Delicious beers with focus on Austria. Didn't eat as it was just after dinner elsewhere and we were brau hopping. Check this place out for a great selection of delicious craft beer in a local feel setting.
