It's fantastic that you can finally make reservations at this restaurant. I never understood why a restaurant would want to be “surprised” by customer demand. Fortunately, they are now well-staffed with a great team working together to ensure everything runs smoothly. The food is quite good. Our ceviche appetizer was outstanding—enough for two but definitely suitable for four as a sharing dish. My wife ordered the halibut special for her main course, which was very good and nicely accompanied by a corn salad, roasted baby potatoes, and asparagus. I opted for several tapas dishes. I visited on the opening night of the 2017 season. Despite the awful weather, the food was outstanding. I particularly loved the steak skewers and the halibut. I also sampled a few other dishes, including chicken with avocado and cilantro purée, rice and artichoke "kissen," small peppers stuffed with shrimp risotto, and crab cakes. Every dish was exceptional. The bartenders were attentive and friendly as well. I can’t wait to return when the weather is warmer!
The atmosphere of being on the water is fun!! The food was great and the service even better! My daughter didn't like her dinner so they immediately substituted it out at no extra charge. We had the oyster shooters, saffron mussels, lamb chops, steak. shrimp/scallop fettuccine ... it was delicious!! Can't wait to go back!!!
The setting is fantastic but the prices for the lackluster food are disproportionately high. I have returned because the convenient location and the setting of being on over the water but continue to find the food not great while being priced as if it is fine dining which it is not.

The food is incredible, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the views are breathtaking, all within a casually elegant setting. Whether it's for a special occasion or simply to enjoy a laid-back summer evening by the Great South Bay, Fat Fish is always a fantastic option.
This restaurant is excellent, with a fantastic and unique menu that offers fresh and abundant options. My family and I have made this our go-to spot. The service is outstanding, and while the cocktails aren't cheap, they are absolutely worth every dollar.
Food was perfect, hot, delicious and each course was nicely spaced. Wait service was excellent. View was beautiful, sunny clear with big waves. Live music added to the mood.
Went for lunch with my mom. Had great wine (recommended by our waitress), great view, relaxed atmosphere. We loved it!
