We started with the Caesar salad and were pleasantly surprised by how much the fried capers enhanced its flavor. I definitely want to try making that at home! Next, we had the veal meatballs served on polenta, which were incredibly moist and packed with flavor. The cacio e pepe was perfection and my favorite dish of the night! We finished off with scallops, which were also expertly prepared. Hats off to the chef! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting! Average price per person: $50–100. To celebrate our anniversary at Fat Ox, we couldn't have been happier with the food and service we experienced that night. We mentioned our special occasion to the receptionist and our waiter as soon as we arrived, and they treated us to complimentary champagne to help us celebrate. The meal was absolutely fantastic, and the waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent service throughout the evening. The entire dining experience was unforgettable, from the delicious food to the wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
We had a group of six and sampled everyone’s dishes, including four appetizers, but nothing impressed us. Given the prices they charge, I expected the food to be exceptional. In fact, even with a 50% discount, I wouldn’t recommend this place—it was that bad! Sorry, but "Fat Ox" certainly isn’t a place where I’d be putting on any weight. The food, wine, and service at Fat Ox are absolutely exceptional. If it were possible, I would give them a sixth star! Just being there makes you happy. They offer some of the finest service and presentation in Scottsdale. I can't wait to return and will certainly recommend it to others. Our server, Canton, was amazing and made the evening a fun and unforgettable experience.
Wow! We had one of the best nights of our lives. The food was out of this world. Our servers were not only friendly but also hilarious, making the experience even better. We spent the most enjoyable three hours of our entire weekend at the table. Fat Ox is truly a special place!
