Went for a meal on Saturday 25th Nov. 3 of us, walked in, seated straight away. Food was overall great! Couldn’t fault it, but service was lacking, it was good, but not incredible. Had to wait 20 mins to order drinks. After this we then had to wait a further 40 minutes to order food (we ended up going up and asking someone to take our order as no one was coming over! Food and drinks were really good, our table had a couple of cocktails, milkshakes and soft drinks. I did feel bad for the staff as they had a table in which seemed to be quite hardwork, wouldn’t stop shouting, screaming, and being rude to the staff. I work in hospitality, as management. Our first experience at Fat Sam’s. Lovely ambience but let down when went to the ladies and one toilet had a faulty flush and only one sink working. Also, cardboard in a corridor on the floor. Not a good look to be fair. My husband never likes to be negative, but when asked, his only problem was that his plate was too light and spun round on the table whilst eating. My food was absolutely delicious. Bit of a mixed review but we certainly can’t fault the food. Will definitely come back.

Stella!! What a fantastic host! She welcomed us warmly and made sure we felt right at home. We dined in and enjoyed some delicious food, particularly recommending the burger and chips. The overall experience was well worth the price, which was around £70–80 per person. Highly recommended!
