We ordered a Party Tray for 2 of us and the oshi sushj to try.The oshi sushi is something you can skip for sure, especially if you’ve had it at Shio at The High or Green Leaf! Those two places are hard to beat for the right ratios of sauce, rice and fish on top.The party tray was HUGE!! I think my boyfriend and I are simple and don’t really like the special rolls with too many things and flavours going on at the same time. This is not just a restaurant, this is a gate between Earth and Heaven where God himself (the chef) is there cooking for you. To say The food is amazing is almost an offence since there 's no words to describe how perfect it is. I punish myself everyday for all the past years that I didn 't know about this place. The Shrimp King is a vessel that brings love into your soul through your sense of taste and makes you restore faith in humanity. The price is also ridiculously low, specially considering that I wouldn 't hesitate to trade my kidney for a dish. Whenever you go there for the first time, make sure you bow to worship them and get on your knees to apologize for never being there before.

Complex was a little confusing to get to but no issues after finding it.Strange thing to comment on but I really liked the smell of torched fish as soon as I walked in. Not something I always notice but I don't usually enjoy the smell of sushi restaurants.Had the gomae, miso soup, chicken teriyaki roll, sockeye salmon roll and beef yakisoba. Really good quality food. I found the yakisoba to be a bit heavy on the sauce but good otherwise. Highly recommend the sockeye salmon roll and Miso soup.Server was very kind and attentive.

I love this small family run establishment.You can tell the sushi is made of love and to perfection. I personally love their spicy tuna/salmon rolls. The waiter is also very kind and is knowledge about the menu.I will give their other selections another try I am sure I will not be disappointed.If only I can get my friend to enjoy raw sashimi, they will be in heaven. How can they acquire this taste I wonder?This place won 't make you a 'fat tuna ' but will surely make you fat temporarily.Will go again! Favourite sushi place!
