Unfortunately very disappointing! Unfriendly French waiter who was barely understandable and had received almost every order wrong. The dishes were ok, but for the price completely overpriced! At Tandoori the sauce was missing and there was no rice and only one of 4 champagne on the map was there. Menus were only available as an iPad page that was barely readable for older people and included other drinks than the PDF that you could open with the mobile phone. We had a table reserved in the restaurant, but not found. There were plenty of tables free, we were still sent rudely in you vine bar. Unfortunately, the heating was broken and it was too warm there. And not nearly the ambience we had...
an impressive, excellent restaurant experience. a young team working at a different level: the kitchen clearly strives for more than one star. filigree masterpieces in which each molecule triggers a new taste explosion in the synapses. no failure or weakening over a total of more than seven acts. each etage for itself a highlight. large whirlpool from the Rhine and the whole world. the service team in accompanying perfection. adapts to the communication of the guests, flatteringly amusing at our (some more lively) table and quiet and restrained on the somewhat stiffer sidebar table with more gravitation. the rooms are modern and reluctant. the room temperature is comparatively high at filz 2...
It's embarrassing and cheerful for a restaurant that keeps so much of it. When I was asked to pay without having an invoice, as the price did not appear to me in a coherent way, I was energized Then I'll give you the bill, and then I got the bill on the table banged with the words even calculated 10 cents too little. Then the waiter turns wordless and disappears. My thanks, despite this respectless behavior of a guest, were not even turned around. Unfortunately also not the first negative experience here, so I will no longer come back. The owners should check their staff and train in how to treat their guests and especially in what tone. we were there about 3 months ago and there was everything. I was disappointed that the same menu was still on it. the service on the evening had some communication problems with each other courts were placed at the wrong place. but .what is not at all is to have a michelinstar restaurant and not to reserve parking extra for it. the hotel was full of Christmas celebrations and my friend prof. dr. Chemmy then was not allowed to park because everything was reserved below and then just drove home. that has spoiled us the night.

during a visit to mainz we visited the restaurant. we were welcomed very nicely and the ambiente was very pleasant. we found the menu offered very interesting from the compilation and has convinced and thrilled us both from the presentation and tasteful. the service was very professional and yet warm. the price/performance ratio is right! when leaving the restaurant we had the opportunity to entertain ourselves briefly with the very friendly young chef. we wish the complete team a lot of success.
delicious food, nice ambience but unfortunately the price of performance is not true. The portions were very small and very expensive for the fish were almost no supplements though that sounded otherwise on the menu. Shade :
