The visit went well. It was disappointing that we didn’t get a welcome and that the bar stuff were more interested in cleaning rather than saying hello, but nonetheless, we got seated quickly. We ordered drinks, which came promptly and we had two roast dinners. The food was of good quality and the portion size was ok. The taste was good and I was happy with the selection of food I had, although some more vegetables would have been nice. I asked for another Bellini after my meal and the waitress forgot to bring it but they managed to bring my friend’s coffee and pudding, which was 1 mouthful of cheesecake! That definitely wasn’t worth the price it was charged at. I was also annoyed to see my second Bellini had been put on the bill, despite not receiving it due to the waitress forgetting (meaning I was sat without a drink whilst my friend had a coffee and cake). Overall, there’s room for improvement with this place.

On an autumn day we enjoyed the crackling fire and the atmosphere delivered by the team here. We have some lovely conversation with Georgia about the surrounding areas. Pair this with a well cooked rib eye steak with a peppercorn mushrooms, A Spicy chick pea curry to warm up the cockles. An over all stupendous visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
