a few weeks ago sat for a birthday party after they did not go in years due to bad service and eating before. the evening meal took approx. 11.5 hours to come for our group of 16 with different delivery times and with appetizers in some cases after completion of the meal. my partner and I ordered the special steak that came, cooked raw over the piece, very unconsistent. chips were good....Salad was limp and unharmed. the plate consisted of a kind of stir fry sauce, a thousand island and a capsicum dip with minimal brot. quite strange. if they are after a classic pub to have a beer game pokies and eat hot chips, this would probably be...read more

Great tasting well presented meals. We own a cafe in NSW so it was lovely to be able to enjoy someone elses fresh yummy food for lunch whilst we were up visiting our daughter and grandson. Would definitely return and recommend the Federal hotel.

Thanks to the Federal Hotel for a great night celebrating Scotts 40th birthday. The food was delicious, staff were wonderful, we were really well looked after and a fun night was had by all.

Amazing meals and atmosphere! I had the Barramundi with mash and garlic sauce and hubby had the Pork Belly, his was mostly fat so not the best we've had but still a nice meal.
