My colleague and I were looking for a place to have dinner at and we heard the live music coming from the Federal Hotel. The cricket was also on on the big screen, which was the drawing card for my colleague. The hotel is split into three — an outside, a more modern inside, and the original indoor space. The service is nice and everyone is very friendly and attentive. My colleague ordered a Parma and I got a grilled Pork cutlet with rice. He was happy with the Parma, which came with chips. The cutlet was nice and thick, and very juicy — it was cooked beautifully. Sadly, the rice looked like it was out of a packet — it was tasteless and I barely touched it. what a beautiful renovation they made at this place. the place looked absolutely stunning colonial style. the staff were friendly and attentive their service was really good! eating was also very pleasant, although I must say for pub food, the part is somewhat smaller compared to others, but only enough for girls. at the beginning we had the crispy paprika and the lime with the salat, which is tasty and fresh in a very warm night. the three cheese gnocchi is delicious, but the part is a little small for a pornstar. the sticky bbq are so delicate that it falls from the bone. it is a pleasant experience.
Was a huge “**** off” right from the start Rang to make booking get a guy talking to staff member while I was on the phone, completely ignoring me Booked a table for 15 people, mentioning it was for 3 birthdays Arrived to get a high bar table and a booth ! In this huge establishment why give us 2 seperate tables that we had to squeeze around be seperated, everyone was extremely disappointed angry Meals weren’t big enough . Going home to snacks after us not a great sign Saying that the pub is really nice with a good atmosphere Unfortunately no recommendations from any of us Food drinks: Not great
Great food, good party in the evening. You can still sleep well (we have a room facing the street). Very friendly staff. Certainly not the hotel for boring people who want to hear the progress but otherwise a great mix of typical architecture, delicious food, pub... and inexpensive! Food drinks: Huge selection of well tapped beers, delicious food: pizza from the stone oven, great daily specials. Everything freshly prepared without any finished products. And fast!

Stopped off for a few drinks, first round of wine was under poured, told the server and he corrected it. Lo and behold, the next glass he under poured as well when serving my husband and when told AGAIN, he proceeded to drip the wine in to meet the line.surely there’s enough profit to pour a glass your customer has paid for how many people are being ripped off every night!! This place is a historic site. The rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. I was very pleased with my stay. The walking distance to the cruise terminal, makes it the ideal place to stay for one or two nights in Fremantle. Rooms: 5 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value
Been here twice now , sat outside first time , second time sat inside in the beautiful plant area , very nice but unfortunately the table was that sticky we had to use the menus as table mats lol ! Otherwise nice pub Service: 3 Location: 3
