During a weekend visit to the wonderful city of Muenster we discovered this medieval/viking style restaurant, just a few steps outside the inner city. It was definitely the highlight of our food experience, besides the sightseeing, which in itself was great. You are welcomed by...friendly people, dressed in middle age attire, who very entertainingly guide you through the menu, ranging from various kinds of mead for drinks, along various meat dishes they even have moose steaks), but also sporting extraordinarily well composed vegetarian dishes. My wife and I had two different vegetarian meals, which both were just excellent. Mine was a hollowed turnip cabbage filled with pasta-style prepared...
It might be okay for a student, but nothing more. There is significantly more ambience in the old location. Now seriously provide a camping chair for guests and only get a slightly better chair when requested is not enough. Asking €8 for 4 small baguette slices topped with cream cheese and tomatoes also shows profit over customer satisfaction. The quantity of the main course was also clearly too low for €24. I hate it when I don 't get full in a restaurant. On the subject of operator attitudes. Don't miss this restaurant if you come to Munster! Delicious food, great beer, amazing staff, lovely place! It's really a hidden gem. the style of the restaurant is kept in the middle age. the personal is both dressed and so handled. which makes you visit in this restaurant something very special and valuable. eating is a good price-performance ratio, not them daily dishes and menus. good drinks and much fun!
