During a weekend visit to the wonderful city of Muenster we discovered this medieval/viking style restaurant, just a few steps outside the inner city. It was definitely the highlight of our food experience, besides the sightseeing, which in itself was great. You are welcomed by...friendly people, dressed in middle age attire, who very entertainingly guide you through the menu, ranging from various kinds of mead for drinks, along various meat dishes they even have moose steaks), but also sporting extraordinarily well composed vegetarian dishes. One of my favorite restaurants in Münster. I've been eating there again. : On site is a wonderfully harmonious ambience. : It is very nicely furnished. Like another time. All in all just good. I love bars and restaurants that have an overall concept with a story that fits! Delicious fresh food with good quality taste at a reasonable price. And even when eating, a presentation adapted to the name of the dish (gallows deadline). Super friendly and authentic service. Furnishings corresponding to the name Purgatory were a bit demonic, witch like, dark... I liked it overall because it fits into the overall concept. Clear recommendation. If I 'm in Münster again I would go here again. We were here with colleagues on a business trip.

A super shop with incredibly good employees, from the festival to the Azubi. Friendly and open. Super delicious, I had the gallows fris(s)t and a delicious malty beer, Das Abt. And the 3 dips, simply super delicious, and the hidden bacon in the fried potatoes <3 love goes to the chef!
