Fela appears to be the most popular restaurant in the most popular part of Leipzig, the Suedvorstadt, on the most popular street, Karl Liebknecht Strasse, affectionately called Karli. The owner, a Leipzig native, clearly cares not only about offering seasonal dishes of very high quality but also...about the physical setting, a melange of colors, shapes and tastes that please the eye as well as the palate. The restaurant only opens at 5 p.m., except on Sundays, when brunch is served beginning at 9:30 in the morning. We had dinner at the Fela and particularly liked being able to taste a variety of starters from a menu of eleven different choices reminiscent of tapas in Spain. The menu choices...
one of the most uneven restaurants I was. the sunday brunch foods are excellent Mediterranean salads and dishes, sweet, delicious deserts. only suggestion here would be to turn the teller before all foods are gone, depending on the time of their. travel to the buffet, they could usually look crumbs with very few choices...it would seem they don't bring fresh food until each last piece was taken by the previous tellers. the ambiente is not at the standard of the food: the place is very cramped and the smaller space is so claustrophobic as austere. and please remove the barostool so that people do not constantly mess with the buffet. service was terrible, it took about 40 minutes to bring a (o...
Kleines aber feines Restaurant. Sehr übersichtliche Karte. Dafür aber qualitätsmäßig absolut top. Wir hatten uns für eine kleine "Schälchenauswahl" entscheiden. Kleine Köstlichkeiten zum guten Preis. Die Hauptgerichte, die doch recht teuer schienen, hatten wir daher nicht probiert. Service war wirklich sehr freundlich. Essen wurde schnell gereicht. Wir kommen sicher wieder und probieren uns durch die Karte!
Das Restaurant ist nicht groß, aber das Geschmackserlebnis um so mehr. Richtig gut angerichtete Gerichte mit einer Zusammensetzung, die man nicht vermutet, das es miteinander so köstlich schmeckt.Junge nette Bedienung und ein Koch, der sein Handwerk versteht, genau wie der Chef seine Weinauswahl trifft.Der Brunch sucht seines Gleichen in Auswahl, Geschmack und Preis.Wir kommen immer wieder gern. the Sunday offered brunchbuffet is simply ingenious; they have the choice between much (such as 10-15 choices of mediteran salats (fresh and good!) also the possibility to distribute it with English (sausages and eggs or French classics (canves for example ... and french...fruits, good jam, cheese, etc.)
Das Konzept mit kleinen Portionen (Schalen) eine Vielfalt von geschickt und interessant zusammengestellten Aromen und Texturen anzubieten ist nahezu perfekt umgesetzt. Die Qualität der Komponenten ist sehr gut. Der Service ist aufmerksam. Die Getränkeauswahl passt sehr gut zum Konzept und den Speisen.
