four of us went to dinner in this restaurant after reading the very good reviews on tripadvisor. we are disappointed. one of our party ordered pasta that came to the table floating in olive oil. (we all love olive oil, but they can. too much of a good thing. a tuna shell was partially burned. unfortunately we came to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, so the bad dishes took part of the glamour in the evening. I should mention in fairness that a third escape we have ordered was good and the birthday boy ordered fish (monkfish, I think it was quite good. in fact, everyone at the table really enjoyed the soße in which the monk was cooked. the waiter helped us select a bottle of white wine...
The venue is located in the student’s quarter on the Zuelpicher Strasse, a main road in Cologne. Parking is possible on the road, sparse though. The restaurant is decorated with a lot of pictures of the movies of Federico Felini. The menu is simply gorgeous....We had a lot variation of the standard Italian cuisine which were a delight. I had a Carpaccio of Roast beef but warm! Yummy. As second course I had Risotto with Aspargus. Yummy too. The main course was a huge loup de mer in a salt crust which I shared with a friend. The wine was expertly selected by the boss himself and was great fit. The service was extremely warm hearted.
I'd the pleasure to visit this restaurant before, and wanted to try it out yesterday evening again after 2 years. It was a great experience and humble to day one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever tried. We followed the recommendation from the...waiter and we didn't go wrong here. The service, friendliness and authentic atmosphere are just one of a kind. I can only give this restaurant my highest recommendations.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Cologne . Doesn’t matter what do you want to order , all meals will be very tasty, fresh and delicious! The owner of the restaurant is working by himself everyday, and he is such a lovely guy! We always happy...to come or send our friends. Just come , try and enjoy! Highly recommended!
Back at Fellini's after 3 years and the same friendly super service and top quality food. Good wine list, warm cosy atmosphere, and authentic Italian. Once again when in Cologne, have a meal at Fellini's
The food was good, however it is incredibly hard to justify paying 13 euro for a tiny bit of pasta on a plate. Left the restaurant still hungry as well as feeling ripped off I would highly not recommend.
Great. We brought our own pastirma and our pizza was documented for us. Super nice service genuine charcoal pizza thin dough simply ingenious so must taste a pizza. Absolute recommendation.

It was a one of a kind experience having dinner at this restaurant . Excellent meal, very nice people and a wonderfull selection of Italian wines ... what more can one desire ???
