discovering this wonderful site that is the Ascione plateau, we wanted to test the hostel, rather well-listed. service of course smiling, but totally rusty. no map, no slate and daily dishes recited approximately .a lost aperitif in the middle of ice cubes, this micro dose of wee still weeping muscat ! correct cooking, the canellonis were excellent, but the polenta of my companion liquid and fade (an impression that it had been extended). While only people had lunch before us, no dessert. I thought I was happy with a plate of cheese, but the portion was very small!the bread came out of the freezer and would have deserved a round of oven. Our neighbors waited for more than an hour to be served. all this too expensive, for dishes, cheese, aperitif and a beer!
ideal for those who want to offer a bowl of air away from the coast. This hostel is worth it, the access is not easy by the road but it is the price to pay to get off and lunch in front of a beautiful landscape. local “family” dishes are excellent and are particularly welcome after a hike on the plateau of the cuscione (we took: lamb mouse, wild boar, cannelloni, all tasty). then it is not given (we have seen past the charcuterie plate that is actually not very supplied) but good, even in the middle of the corsa, nothing is cheap in August in the corsa. overall the ratio quality price is excellent for typical dishes.
We took a step in this cottage located near the plateau of the cusciunu. the frame is beautiful, the very friendly and warm staff. local cuisine made home at an affordable price with a selection of quality wines. We will return without hesitation on our next escapade.
