Tasting menus have become something of a possession of me. In my search for the best spots in Les Gets I discovered @restaurantfdm @FermedeMontagne. Seriously, food is excellent. Favourite dishes include scallop, smoked aal, grilled squid with caramelized whey and apple. On...this is the lamb tongue with carrot, Kimchi and pickled currants amazing. Very well balanced and so delish. Thanks for the bosses for this festival. @jsmith07 @pachapapii. By the way, both chefs have cooking experience over 6 continents and both poles and met in the Antarctic while they cook on an expedition ship. Worth visiting.
We went on Christmas Day. The ambiance is fine, decor very nice but the food was a joke. The waitress obviously been told how to present the menu, but it came across as being very pretentious , " the oysters are divine, the chef has been shucking them all day! Well it is a tiny restaurant and not full. We go two oysters!, then the risotto, is flavoured with freshly foraged herbs! This was winter, a portion that a baby could eat. We left having had a nice not memorable meal and could easily have stopped somewhere for fish and chips as well! We were very much still hungry!
This was one of the best five restaurants we have eaten at in France and in London this year. Really at the top end, but without any fuss. In fact some of the dishes were simple and delicious. The fish was always flawlessly cooked, moist, firm, all its flavours intact. A couple of truly cutting edge dishes that were a great success. Really interesting vegetarian dishes, but curiously not a lot of vegetables with the meat and fish, but when we asked for more vegetables, they were happily served every time we ate dinner here.
We had fabulous meals here, very varied in choice, from the finest Michelin quality dishes to simple but fantastic dishes like a perfect hamburger - the one served here was referred to by my son as a "very posh burger", and definitely one of the best we have eaten ( and we are fans of the new breed of quality burger purveyors like Byron in London)! But really, the food is very very good, beautiful to look at on the plate, and served by charming staff in a beautiful place.

Booked this on Trip Adviser research. Bit annoyed that they phoned on the day of the booking to tell us it was a tasting menu and 98 Euros (we were going as a group to celebrate a 50th so felt a bit responsible for the cost).However the evening was fantastic, we were collected and returned at no charge, wines recommended were sublime and the food outstanding. Put in private room which turned out to be great. Probably the highlight of the holiday for us all!!
Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Les Gets, and this was the creme de la creme of our meals. We were on a catered chalet holiday, and after our disappointing Wednesday night meal at restaurant Alan White my wife kindly surprised me and took me to this wonderful luxury mountain retreat, which was just incredible in every way. This is an absolute must for any special occasion and we will definitely be returning.
Very comfortable with outstanding food. Excellent quality produce, with homemade bread. Some of the best cooking in the area. Charming staff. Very good value. And the log fire is fabulous. Recommended
Its beautiful, the dining room is really one of the most romantic in the world. Perfect lighting, beautiful roaring log fire, brilliant food, superb wines, excellent service. Outstanding.

We enjoyed our meal here - a very warm and welcoming place with candlelight and a fireplace. The very talented chefs produced a perfect dinner.
