on this type of epic situation where they could stop and visit the massive cliff/rock of creux du van, this is the only restaurant so they have no other possibilities! it is a modest self-service restaurant. we have eaten there twice and the restaurant of the farm. has interior and exterior seats. on a sunny/warm day the outer is better. käsefondue here is good. inside is cozy and beautiful, but easy. However, the employees who are at the theke are quite indifferent and too time unpolitic. Since they do not have any other place to eat here, they keep their service expectations low with regard to the staff setting.

yes, if they like michelin's style restaurants (whoever I like them), this place could be a bit scary for them. only simple wooden house in the middle of nowhere, but when they reach this place to admire the amaizing creaux de van rocky amphitheater, as. it is nothing better than sitting in the garden of le soliat, surrounded by Swiss cows and enjoy fantastic Swiss cooking cheese called greender. that is just a must and by the way, the quality of their fondues is really high. service staff is also very friendly and fast, take this challenge and they will definitely like it!

Put it that way: do not expect Haute Cuisine in a restaurant with self service and which is pretty much a kind of hostel in the Swiss Alps. The prices are high, the service is average and the ambiance is a catastrophe. However, the food...was good, all cooked to perfection. The price-benefit ratio okay do not forget: combine Swiss prices and the location in the alps and you will understand. Conclusion: nothing to say bad about this location.

that eating is not great, it is survival food, and we had initially a problem as they had lost our table reservation, and were not helpful, but finally we were helped by yann who saved the day and gave us great service. the restaurant is located...in the fantastic location of the creux du van, which is why you go there.
