My family and I decided to revisit this restaurant again, after many years. It was great to experience the friendly people, and quiet location. We all had satay - chicken, pork and a combination. This is one of the best satay meals I have had in a long time, it had just the right amount of spicy, and peanut flavours. I would recommend Fernalee for a family, as well as a couple, who would like to be able to talk while enjoying the lovely food.
I picked up a special fried rice today and what a waste of $7.90 this was!! It took ages to prepare and is full of carrots, corn and not much else. I heard the microwave "ding" and should have known there and then that this is a very bad restaurant. The rice on opening it smelt and tasted like a microwaved sachet of very poor fried rice. I'm saying that they di microwave their food but I did hear the "ding". Disgusted!!!
We had the banquet for 4 of us and enjoyed every course however as another review pointed out, the service was a little slow but it was a busy night.Yes atmosphere is lacking, perhaps an up grade in the eating area might be the go.However, the food is worth a small wait.Very good, thanks
Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for a small rice and satay there was 1 table occupied at the time with three guests and the food was NOTHING I’d pay for again unfortunately. I’m not sure if it was just a bad night for them but the impression was lasting : Reserva una mesa ahora
Not much of an atmosphere, but delicious food and very generous servings. Food was a bit slow coming out, but worth the wait. Other downfall was that they won't split the bill for individual payments. I will definitely go back again.
Quick take out at Fernalee, the shrimp fried rice is good, find the starry dishes a little sweet to taste, but other than that its good value for money.
The service was very good and all the food was well presented, hot and tasty when it arrived.We'll certainly be going back for more.Fred Dena
