Having been here a few times earlier in the year and found the service and food to be very good, it was a big disappointment to see how rapidly their menu and service has deteriorated. Their claim to be vegetarian friendly no longer applies. The best option I was given on our recent visit was a tuna salad 'sin atun '. There was no obvious vegetarian choices on the menu and the waiter seemed most reluctant to offer any alternatives. This is a big change from previous visits when the then head waiter went to great lengths to provide options. Unfortunately he was not there during this visit. Stayed in Vinaros, from 16th to 23rd June, ate in a couple of places but Fernandos was by far the best. Dined here 4 times over the week. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to help. I don't speak Spanish but three of the staff there that I met spoke excellent English, so ordering was not an issue. Even the staff who spoke limited English came over to us to talk. Fernandos is very clean and the food is really fresh and well presented, staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Visitamos este restaurante dos veces en una semana. La primera visita fue entre semana y la segunda fue un domingo a la hora de almuerzo. Durante la visita entre semana comimos con trabajadores locales, siempre es una buena señal, tuvimos una comida barata pero excelente. Luego reservamos una mesa para seis personas para el almuerzo del domingo a través de su sitio web, pero cuando llegamos no tenían constancia de ello, a pesar de tener una confirmación. Fernando en persona fue muy amable y se aseguró de que tuviéramos una mesa, pero también tomó nota de la falta de información en el restaurante. Simplemente nos sorprendió, con prejuicios pre-nombrados, que fueron desmantelados uno por uno. local y curiosamente limpio y ordenado terraza. tratamiento de camareros y servicio adecuado en todo momento. precio dependiendo de lo que se solicite, tienen una carta, pero al mismo tiempo le ofrecen un menú también. el menú correcto tanto en cantidad como en calidad. Visitamos Vinaròs para el cumpleaños de nuestro amigo. Disfrutamos de comida y bebida en este estupendo bar moderno ubicado en la esquina al final del paseo marítimo. El personal es muy amable y servicial. La comida es buena comida europea con un toque español. Excelente para disfrutar del sol de la tarde, no hay quejas. Volveríamos con gusto.
The restaurant was relatively empty compared to the neighboring El Barco (where we could not get a table), but the quality of food was really astonishing. We know many restaurants here, but it was really good. Also service was very good, lunch for kids was ordered immediately and served quickly. A true recommendation.
El hermoso interior, la excelente comida y el servicio amigable hacen que este sea fácilmente uno de los mejores restaurantes en Vinaròs. He comido en casi todos los restaurantes y ninguno de ellos se acerca a Fernando's. En resumen, un excelente valor, gran ambiente y comida soberbia.
We'd struggled to find good food reasonably priced in Vinaros. This was an excellent find, mussels, steak and lovely fries, cheese, chilli jam and quinces jelly, bread and wine for the menu of the day at €11 the owner came and translated the menu for us. Shame it was our last night...
