I loved this place and went here for a few dates with my partner over the last couple of years so it's a shame for me to say I will not be returning. I would like to note that the food has for the most part been good and comforting. I ordered the Cheese Tortellini Mushroom with Sage Sauce. While I'll admit, the order says sage in it, it was a lot of sage, more than a handful of leaves for one bowl. I could not eat it because the taste was so strong. I cook with fresh sage and other herbs at home so this was not just a new flavor to me or something of the sort. The waiter came by a couple of minutes later and asked how the food was. I politely said it is a little too much sage for my liking...
As we walked in, we noticed the outdoor lights were on, and we were warmly greeted by the owner, who seated us at our favorite window table. He always remembers where each customer prefers to sit. When we expressed our excitement about trying the lunch menu, he informed us that they no longer serve lunch but open early for those who want to stop by. We were thrilled!
We ordered from the main menu and were not disappointed; the food and service were excellent. The chef even came out to check on us to ensure everything met our expectations. He always takes the time to confirm that our meals are to our satisfaction.

This was our second time eating here...the staff is courteous and friendly, the food is absolutely delicious and not over priced for it's quantity and quality... highly recommend the fiddlehead bruschetta as an appetizer...my girlfriend had the cheesy crab melt with a side salad and coleslaw, while I had the bourbon orange chicken with jasmine rice and mixed vegetables...for dessert we had the limoncello tiramisu and I had the pineapple upside down cake... I highly recommend going to this fine establishment... We had such an awesome meal here. Brian went above and beyond to accommodate us when he certainly didn’t have to. The food was fresh and delicious, and we were very lucky to have gone during fiddlehead season. Several items on the menu included the neat little edible fern. The best part of the meal had to be the key lime pie, which Brian told us he makes himself. I also recommend their peach lemonade—so refreshing! Overall, it was such a unique and delightful experience that went beyond my expectations. My only complaint is how far away from my house it is! What a wonderful meal my friends and I had at Fiddleheads restaurant yesterday! The ambiance is so welcoming and cozy. And the food is absolutely delicious. We started with soup I had the French onion and one of my friends has the tomatoe bisque. Both were delicious! Main course was the crab sandwich. And can’t go wrong with the chocolate love torte for dessert delicious! Highly recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
had no idea that this little incredible business existed at all when I am from the neighbor city until my buddy asked me to meet him there. from the communication get a reservation to the service and then the incredibly tasty eating. I will certainly recommend this place to my friends and my family. the one was really out, the muscles was amazing I will get a double order next time.
This is a little restaurant in Jamesburg that really puts out some great food. I had lunch here even though they don't serve sit down lunch. They accommodated my wife and I. We had the fried Fiddle head appetizer was very good. I had the tortellini with sage sauce amazing.
Decided to come back to this town to have pizza… And ended up next door at this place… Really really good food… Diverse menu… Very good competitive pricing… Sincere and friendly… Attentive… Customer service

Excellent restaurant for a special occasion. Great menu. Salmon is delish and the desserts. So many great menu items and they change it up which is great. LOVE this place!
