Fig and Walnut Cafe

Tried the Fig and Walnut Cafe in Seddon for the first time for brunch and loved it. I ate the Apple Crumble Porridge and it was awesome. My wife ate the Chili Scrambled Eggs I'm afraid this wasn't as expected with a load of chilis just thrown on top of scrambled egg. Way too much chilis for morning eats. I think it would have been less severe in hot spicey taste if it was mixed in with the scrambled egg. There is a lovely sunny courtyard out the back so the cafe is much larger than first appears. Worth giving it a go .... Next time, I'll try the bacon maple waffle for a sugar overload, but stay away from the chili scrambled eggs.

The staff here are excellent. They are very organised to keep guests Covid-safe and are attentive to customer needs. I was given a bottle of cold water with my menu and my coffee order came very quickly. I chose a cheese and spinach pastry and this came with a serve of tzatziki and rocket. It was delicious and of a good size. I was impressed by the pleasant price as well I did notice that this Sunday brunch saw a few families with young children and even the odd dog.

Tucked away next to Seddon train station. Has been open half a decade and still delicious and friendly. The decor is quaint and homely. Staff are attentive and fast service. The menu changes each season which is perfect! Definitely try them. Been visiting many a time since they opened and will continue to return!

First time at this great cafe tucked away in Seddon. Easy parking and very attentive service. Coffee was great and water carafe brought out immediately. Food was yum.

Great food, awesome coffee. Our favourite local hangout. Staff are awesome, breakfasts are insane. Highly recommended.
