Filippi's Pizza Grotto

Food is outstanding but the pizza is a bit overpriced. Even for the quality, which is excellent. We may order a pizza for pickup every once in a while in the future but won't eat there again. As good as the food was, service was slow (although friendly) and the booths are uncomfortably sized for 3 normal (not large) sized adults. It was a bit like a game of strategy trying to eat and not knock things over or off of the table. We ordered 1 medium pizza and 2 meals. We were all 3 so uncomfortable from lack of space that it made dining a task and unpleasant rather than relaxing.

My daughter and I just had pizza and meat Ravioli. I picked it up. We're in the process of moving and we were starving. I am not a pizza person, but I had a slice. It was exceptional. The Ravioli was also excellent, but oh my goodness, the pizza was amazing. We have eaten there several times and will continue be regulars.

The food was great. Hasn't changed. Still the best pizza ever. The lasagna, ravioli, and spaghetti plate was so big. 3 of us shared from it and still took a container with us along with 1/2 a pizza. Coming back next time we're here in town. 3 very stuffed and satisfied Fresno visitors.

Growing up in Chicago I love my pizza. I've lived here for a little over a year and have tried so many different places ave they have been horrible. You are by fast the best pizza I have ever had including my Chicago style. I will absolutely return.

When I lived in San Diego I use to eat this pizza all the time with my best friend..On vacation this year in San Diego it was like old times. Best Pizza I have ever eaten..Best Friends sharing this Pizza again!! Life is good!
