Basándome en las reseñas aquí, esperaba que esta fuera una visita más agradable, pero resultó ser la manera perfecta de pasar medio día. La anfitriona Ángela y los demás miembros de su familia son generosos y conocedores. Nos recibieron en su casa y negocio con un estilo y amabilidad genuinos. Based on reviews here, I was expecting this to be an enjoyable visit, but this really was the perfect way to spend half a day. The hosts Angela and Andres and their family are generous and knowledgeable. They welcomed us into their home and business...with real style and kindness. We had pre-booked for breakfast, which was substantial and beautifully cooked (omelete, arepa, chorizo, buneola, cheese and of course. coffee.) Unexpectedly we also stayed for lunch. My family and I visited this beautiful coffee farm to experience and learn about what really goes in to making a good cup of coffee. We were not disappointed. This small farm is family owned and run. Andres greeted us and explained about the history...of the region and its coffee. His wife Angela then brought us several cups of their own delicious coffee, brewed using different methods. Andres then showed us around the plantation, we even got to pick some coffee from the plants, before being guided through the process of washing, selecting, fermenting and drying the coffee. Mi familia y yo visitamos esta hermosa finca de café para aprender y descubrir qué es realmente lo que hace una buena taza de café. No nos decepcionaron. Esta pequeña finca es de propiedad y gestión familiar. Andrés nos dio la bienvenida y explicó la historia de la región y su café. Su esposa Ángela luego nos trajo varias tazas de su propio delicioso café, preparado con varios métodos. Un lugar verdaderamente increíble para visitar y aprender sobre la producción de café en pequeña escala. Andrés es un anfitrión amable, y explica todo en un español simple y claro para que pudiera entender todo lo que decía, incluso siendo relativamente principiante en el idioma. Su finca es hermosa, y el café en sí es para morirse. Puedes coordinar con él por teléfono el día anterior o por la mañana, o también parece estar bien simplemente aparecer. A truly incredible place to visit and learn about natural small-scale coffee production. Andrés is a gracious host, and he explains everything in simple and clear Spanish so I could understand everything he was saying, even as relative beginner in the language. His farm is...beautiful, and the coffee itself in to die for. You can arrange with him one the phone the day before or the morning of, or it seems like it’s also ok to just show up as well. Jardín won't stop surprising me. Ángela and Andrés just left me speechless with their amazing tour if their property. Enjoyed every minute of it from A to Z. These are incredibly hardworking people. I was lucky enough to share their lunch where of the...products are grown on their farm and all of it is organic. Andrés is extremely knowledgeable, I learned so much about coffee making and although I am no coffee drinker myself, I loved learning about this product that seems to be the second most important drink in the world in terms of quantity. Thank you ever so much Ángela and Andrés for this unforgettable experience!
Ángela María y Andrés fueron encantadores. Nos mostraron su finca y el proceso de elaboración del café. Pudimos probar el café y hasta cocinaron unos plátanos con guacamole.
