This was an unplanned, impromptu visit. We visited for a coffee, but as with many such places it is also a bar. In fact it is more of a bar than a coffee shop.Decorated in wood panelling with some old pictures and posters that add to its character. The place gave a flavour of an old French meeting place.Outside on street seating was available - but it was a very cold day, so we stayed inside.We were greeted by Madam, who in spite of the language barrier make us welcome. ( I can only speak a very small amount of French - and she didn't speak English).The service was prompt and two large coffees came to 5€.The drawback was the toilet. what I love is its terrace overlooking the street, but protected on the sides. welcome dogs. If you take the aperitif, you'll have a little more. biscuits, olives, or sausage, or others, depending on the day.

nice terrace to take a drink in the summer or warm bar to taste the beaujolais in November ;-) we meet all year at the endest dog to spend a good time with friends

friendly but aperitif bar at homeopathic dose at the current rate in this kind of big drinking establishments it can cost you to fill your vice

Had a baguette sandwich for lunch. Good beer, tasty sandwich but keep your expectations low as its a basic pleasant bar.
