Fink Stuebel - Reserva de mesa

Upon reading very good reviews we opted to try this restaurant instead of some by the river with a view. We were so glad we did because the food was excellent. We had the chicken and pork vol au vent and it was the best...puff pastry I have ever had in my life. It was light and flaky but still buttery. Many vol au vents are a disappointment because the pastry isn’t light and flaky. This one here was like eating air. The white cheese sauce was very rich and creamy …just excellent at 20 euros. We also had the pork knuckle at 18.5 euros roasted in the oven with a demi glacé and it was very good. The skin was a little crispy while the meat of the ham knuckle b was tender and tasty. Nice. This noon was delicious: the foie gras, the onion pie, the vol-au-vent with a delicious sauce, the sauerkraut (saucisses with a great taste, well scented cabbage... really a treat! The wine is not so expensive that I could read it in other comments: for 9€ it is a pichet of 25cl, it is correct! The service was pleasant and at the right pace, the pleasant atmosphere... really a perfect moment!

Nice location and friendly team But the flaeschnakes were not very good and especially with too much pork and salted meat Prices are not given on the other hand Drinks are too expensive 4€ tea for a banal tea bag The veal head was good for my father.

Just far enough from the tourist center that you lose the crowds. Lots of locals show up there. The staff was helpful and attentive. The food was wonderful. The portions were very generous. Nice and cozy environment. Very traditional. Reserva una mesa ahora

A real Alsatian restaurant, country decor, where we had the famous choucroute or sauerkraut, with all the delicious sausages and bacon that go with it. Along with a good glass of beer and white wine we had a lovely meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Fink Stuebel. Great food and beer. Right in the historic center on Rue Finkwiller. Bring your appetite and make a reservation.
