We were back in NJ for a family visit and of course we made a stop down the shore. Originally from North Jersey, we later resided down the shore until moving to our present location where music and a lot of food go to die. It has been awhile, because of Covid, etc since we have been here, This location was a mainstay when we lived here (actually this branch's original location was down the road) and went probably 3X a month. The atmosphere nice and the service was fantastic. The woman up front was bubbly and very kind and patient as we scanned the menu. The gentleman who brought the food out was also incredibly friendly. Something I really do appreciate from staff at a restaurant.Unfortunately I was not blown away by the poke bowl. The fish was good and the avocado was fresh and tasty. The accompanying pickled ginger, and wasabi slaw were just overpowering other parts of the meal. I think if they had played a more supporting roll they would have better served the meal. I have been going to Fins for many years, starting from the day they opened in Brick. There is no better place for fresh food. I have dietary restrictions and don't eat carbs, but they have always been willing to work with me on menu options. There is plenty of parking at the new location. Both of my kids have always loved Fins, and now they are 25 and 22 years old. My daughter even went there yesterday, which was her first day home after college graduation on Friday.
The food is delicious at Fins. We are regular customers and will continue to be. However, I am not a fan of the salsa.

I had shrimp tacos. They were really good but almost $5 a piece. The salsa is a bit spicy and very tasty.
The location is great and the staff is lovely, but I always leave feeling unsatisfied.
Great food always ready by the time they tell you, and they never make any mistakes.
Absolutely delicious food. Never a disappointment. Eat there several times a week.
