I?ve tried contacting owners to resolve conflict with morning employee. This establishment has hired a homeless baker and her boyfriend sleeps In the black Chevy SUV while she?s at work. But he doesn?t sleep ! He?s loud, plays loud music and hasthreatened people on El Centro. The owners are aloof and don?t care. Business has no management. The owner Linda G livesoverseas while their baker sleeps in a car. This post does not reflect on the food which is excellent. The one star is forINDIFFERENCE and APATHY. I had the Pesto chicken sandwich and the short rib sandwich based on a recommendation from one of the staff, and both were excellent. While they’re not the cheapest options, you can definitely taste the quality. Unlike typical fast food or regular sandwiches packed with preservatives, I didn’t feel sluggish after my meal. The bread is fantastic – with a crunchy crust on the outside and a soft, moist interior. We also had the chance to meet Bill, who we believe is the owner, and it's clear he genuinely cares about the quality of the food he serves. I will definitely be back to try more!
Had the pesto chicken sandwich and short rib sandwich based on feedback from one of the workers; both very good. Not the cheapest but this is good quality. I did not feel tired at all after eating like I do often with greasy foods or normal sandwich meats with lots of preservatives. Sourdough bread is excellent. Crunchy crust on outside soft and moist on inside. We met Bill, which we think is the owner. You can tell he truly cares about the quality of his food. Will definitely be back to try more.
The pesto chicken sandwich here is the best I've ever had, especially with the fantastic bread. While they offer many other delicious dishes, I find myself ordering this one every time. Their desserts are incredible too! Treat yourself to a wonderful meal here!

Absolutely amazing!!! This is the best sandwich in the city. The bread is perfect, and the chicken pesto or pork belly sandwich will leave you completely satisfied and wanting more the next day. Bill is a true gem; no one makes bread as good as he does!
We ordered the Asian chicken salad, ice tea, and it came with their home baked bread and we ate in their patio. Delicious! So, I ordered to go too.

This place is sooooooooooo goood. Love the sandwiches and love the side salad. Bread very moist and soft. New favorite place!!
