My husband and I discovered Fire Creek 4 years ago when we moved to West Des Moines. When we first visited we knew we had discovered a hidden gem! The awesome atmosphere, great cocktails, helpful smiles/service, and the best part of all....THE FOOD! The food is SO GOOD, whoever thinks you can visit a Perkins or an Applebee's and get the same quality of food or better is just NUTS! Fire Creek has some of thee freshest prepared food in our city not to mention quality cuts of meat. Is it fine dining here? You bet! I just had my first experience at this restaurant tonight while having dinner with clients, and it was fantastic! I ordered the Halibut and also sampled the Mosquito Bites and Calamari as appetizers. We enjoyed a couple of beers and the Dirty New Yorker martini, which came with perfectly stuffed blue cheese olives. Everything was delicious, but the standout was definitely the carrot cake—I'd return just for that!

The three of us went to Fire Creek last night and everything we ordered was superb! We started with the blueberry lemonade vodka omg good. Filet mignon, garlic mashed with house dressing was fabulous. Asiago chicken was to die for. New York strip amazing. Service was perfection.

Went for my birthday and had an amazing experience! Service was wonderful and the meal was to die for. Prime rib was cooked to perfection! I also recommend the mosquito bites appetizer.

My husband and I had supper there last night, and it was one of the best prime rib sandwiches we have eaten. Heather was our server and was very friendly, the service was outstanding.

We had the best meal last night! Cajun ribeye, beef medallion n superb drinks. Excellent service by Louis. Can't wait to go back!!
