Finally, we decided to break this place and try again, and we are happy to say to SEVERAL failed visits in the past, we were EXTREMELY happy. I've been in the restaurant business for many years, waitress, bartender and manager in the past and our server, Tyler was wonderful. He dealt with our concerns about the previous experience and was very polite and knowledgeable. My family and I are now really excited that this restaurant is here and cannot wait to go back and try some more of their new menu items.
Great service, great food and a great owner! My waitress Terra was very friendly and attentive to my needs! I ordered the chips and salsa as an appetizer and let me tell you that Salsa is now my FAVORITE! I ordered the pork with mixed vegetables and potatoes! The taste was AMAZING! You cannot beat the food quality for the price! I definitely recommend giving this place an attempt, they will not disappoint you!
We ate there twice during our stay in Texas. I can honestly say that there is no competition out there to keep up. The steak was so tender, I was using a butter knife to cut it. The steak fajitas were out of this world ,shrimp was perfect and the lava cake dessert was to die for. I sure wish we had a Firehouse 52 in Peoria Illinois. Staff was great and cocktails from the bar were right on cue.
Made our first visit to Firehouse 52 last night to hear Steve J. Rose and the Rio Grande Band. What a great place! The food was excellent, the service was friendly and very attentive and the atmosphere fun. We will definately be making this a regular stopping place. Can’t wait to try the Sat. and Sun. Brunch menus. Thanks for a great evening, Firehouse 52! You have done a great job!
