The sandwich I ordered was good, but the ordering process left much to be desired. I mistakenly scheduled my order for 11:05 instead of 12:05. When I called the store at 10:45 to correct it, I found out they had already made my sandwich. Did they expect it to sit there for 20 minutes before I picked it up? This place gets really busy around noon, which is why I tried to order ahead. However, next time I visit, I think I'll just wait for a freshly made meal.
Great food, exceptional service the location is perfect. I ordered the Italian for my Love medium and it was so delicious and the perfect size. The N.Y. steamer was amazing and reminded me of a lot of delis back on the east coast Midwest that I'm accustomed to. The lack of 5 stars has to do with the mobile online ordering option I completely finished everything but couldn't pay for the food so I had to call the location and pay when I picked up the food. Food is good but the wait times are crazy long. 30 minutes or more, today was 45 minutes for an online order. I put a stop watch on and at one point there were 10 minutes between completed orders. I saw 5 employees but usually only one or two were preparing food with a store full of customers. I just can't go here anymore with the long waits.
The food is great but it takes a while. My last time there I ordered 3 sandwiches without any modifications and took over 30 mins. If you are not in a rush it's worth it. I would order ahead but the sandwiches get gross after sitting for a bit. If they didn't help out firefighters I don't think I would continue to go back.
This isn't the Firestone I'm familiar with. The crowd was nice, but the smoky atmosphere at the tables was a bit off; it seemed like the ventilation system wasn't working properly. For the price, I expected much more in terms of quality. I can't recommend this place! Even Subway offers better subs than what I found here!
Great place. You get plenty of food for the price and supports local firefighters. Sandwiches are fantastic. Cheeseed bread and steam, so get the crunchy bread and moist and melting meat and cheese. The food is great, but it takes a while. My last time I ordered 3 sandwiches without changes and over 30 minutes. If you're not in a hurry, it's worth it. I command, but the sandwiches get a little rough after sitting. If they didn't help firefighters, I wouldn't go back.
