Firehouse Subs Lansdowne Peterborough

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It’s so different from what it used to be. The place was dirty, and we couldn’t find a clean table anywhere. The bathroom was also in poor condition, and I noticed one of the employees was wearing track pants! Only two of the staff members were friendly; the rest seemed to communicate in a different language and just stood around without paying attention to the customers. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location. Your prices are too high for the same quality as a subway.

Wow, the sandwiches are fantastic! I visited the restaurant for the first time today, but I found it odd that all the tables were dirty, especially since I was the only customer there. They do have nice seating for individuals on one side, but it was blocked off—maybe because it was too dirty to use? Joking aside, there were five staff members behind the counter, and they didn't seem to be busy at all. They handed me my food to go, which actually turned out to be a blessing since I decided not to stay.

Food is good the 2 times we have been. The issue here is the service. No one really acknowledges you are there unless you get in their face waving your arms. The speed at which the sub is made is atrocious!!! 2nd time we ordered ahead and it still took another 20 minutes past the time it said it would be ready. That's 40 minutes to make 2 sandwiches??? Did you nurture the turkey from a young age, slaughter and cook it to order? Geeeeezzzzeeee!

Subs are pretty good here and I quickly found out that ordering double meat resulted in a sub with 2 inches of meat! (Still finished it though. ?Keep in mind its pretty expensive like everything else though but I would still recommend although I would stick with regular meat. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is definitely among my top three favorites, and I highly recommend it. The food is incredible and satisfying, the staff are friendly and helpful, and I'm really glad I gave it a try. I will definitely be returning!

Second time trying out Firehouse in a different location. So far it's been consistently on point. Nice staff and a clean restaurant. Stuck with what I knew so I got a meatball sub it didn't disappoint. That's for the grub.
