6/25/24 Update: Made a special trip out here for the Firehouse sub name of the day promotion. Mind you, I haven't been here since I posted my last review. Arrived at 4:26 to see this sloppy handwritten sign on the door, saying their hours are 11am 4pm. And the door was locked. According to their printed hours (on the door, on the app, on the website, on Google... Pretty much EVERYWHERE), they should have been open until 9pm. So obviously 4pm is a massive cop out and no explanation given. This was the last straw for me. Definitely will not be back. When I first walked in, I am always nice to everyone i see so i made eye contact with the young black man there and said hi and he just looked at me like i was a problem or something, i ignored it and waited at the register for 10 whole minutes (no one else was in there so they just let me sit there until they decided they wanted to work again) before a young white man with a “man” bun came out and he greeted me the exact same way the other man did. Service and quality at this location has deteriorated significantly. Not sure what’s going on, but if someone doesn’t do something soon this could very well mean the end of this restaurant. My elderly father went in to order our Sunday dinner this weekend after trying 2 other recent Sunday evenings but the restaurant was closed both those times. Tonight he walked in and the music was very loud and when he was ordering he told the person at the counter he has a hard time hearing them. Then, apparently Firehouse no longer offers sweet and spicy meatball subs? That’s what he was told by the employee. But it still shows it’s available on the website. Came here on Sunday 5/5/24 somewhere around the time of 1330-1400, and as you can see the parking lot not that full, only two people eating inside. We walked in and only one employee seem to be working on an order by herself. We stood and waited at the register for a while and realized no chance we were going to get service, we heard a noise in the back but no one ever came out. Unfortunately the under-staffing makes this place a bad option for a Sunday. I personally would just close it down if you have no one to work. It would also help if you get acknowledgment walking in but the employee might have been in the zone on her order. The Owner may need to re-evaluate and work on something here... It's always good to support our first responders. However, this location has been the worst by far. At one time in the past, it was the place to eat and support. But recently, the past several times there is either not enough staff to handle orders in a timely fashion, when that was addressed the staff screwed up an online order of 4 subs which were all not what was ordered. They didn't follow the menu or order and figured to make what they wanted. When I called to mention the order was incorrect, I was told to come in for a full refund. Big disappointment once again. This location has gone downhill. The staff knows absolutely nothing about anything and really isn't interested in finding out. They know nothing about the rewards system and said it only applies to the app. Then didn't have large rolls so I got 2 medium subs. 1 white and 1 wheat. Is right on the receipt but got 2 wheat subs. I should have checked everything before I left. Used to have great customer service but that was a long time ago. I sent an email telling them about the bad service I received last time and of course I never heard anything back. I would not recommend this location.
Like many others, I went to this location recently (during the name day promotion) only to find it closed several hours before their posted hours online and on the door. I emailed customer service and received an half-hearted apology and they asked if I went to a different location to participate in the promotion. I shouldn’t have to go to multiple locations. This location clearly has many issues to work out. Unfortunately, I fully expect that it will be closed permanently by the end of the year.
